It was revealed in the news that India has deployed US made Predator Drones at LoC for surveillance. How severe threat for it could be for Pakistan? Dr Moeed Pirzada discussed the expected deal of Predator Drones of India and United States with renown defense analyst Air Marshal (r) Shahid Lateef.
Indian lobby in United States is very much active in congress to push the sale of drones to India. Air Marshal (r) Shahid Lateef said that it is not possible that United States get agree to sale its advance technology drones to India. Pakistan has the advantage that we are indigenous in drone technology, while India is still using Israeli technology.
He further said that conventional weapons are still very much relevant to keep up to date even if we are nuclear state. Conventional weapons are necessary to keep our deterrence against India and to keep our nuclear arsenals safe.
