While Talking to Dr Moeed Pirzada Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Leader of the Opposition of Punjab said that the protest campaign and movement of PTI and PAT would continue separately. Pakistan Awami Tehrek under Allama Tahirul Qadri started a campaign against the rulers for not giving them justice on Model Town Lahore Incident. Model town tragedy took place two years ago when Punjab Police opened fire against PAT workers in model down leaving 14 dead. Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed said that not only PTI but other opposition parties are supporting PAT Movement of Qasas and Ehtesab because victims of Model town incident didn’t get justice. He said that the report of Model Town Tragedy commission was not made public. Because of this people lost their trust of Government institutions. While commenting on PTI movement against corruption starting from 7th August 2016, he added that the movement will continue until government holds a transparent investigation into the Panama Papers allegations, or until they resign.
