Dear Moeed Pirzada Sb, In regard to registration of my vote as Overseas Pakistani, in which I failed, sent email to the Chief Election Commissioner, with further reminders, still couldn’t receive any acknowledgement / answer. I forward you my mail addressed to the CECP.
Assalam Alaikum, Your honour, from the legal capital of the world, The Hague, Netherlands, As a Overseas Pakistani, I tried my level best to sign in and register as a voter, but I couldn’t ! Infact I’m a bit surprised and disappointed over the functioning of the system. ( I’m a regular user of the internet ).
Only yesterday I could see on electronic media, that out of millions of voters, few thousands could register, and I’m thinking others too faced the same scenario, like I myself.
When I wanted to send a online complaint, again I couldn’t !, because at the space for the Machine Readable Passport Number I couldn’t fill the number even..only first digit and further wasn’t possible to feed the number, that’s why I’m writing you directly.
Your Honour, I hope your office would help me to solve and resolve this issue, as I would love to fulfill my constitutional and national obligation to use my voting right.
PS: My NICOP No:
Issued on: 02/11/2010
Machine Readable Passport No:
Issued by Pak Embassy, The Hague, Netherlands
Date of Issue: 28 June 2016
Thanking you in anticipation.
With my profound regards,
Yours, Sincerely,
Khalid Ahmed Chaudry
