In an exclusive interview with Dr Moeed Pirzada, Chairman, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, warned the rulers against passing a law, what he termed as an attempt at genocide of 200 million people of Pakistan, he said the government is silently busy attempting to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure (CRPC), aimed at protecting the Sharif Brothers from the Model Town massacre case, he said the proposed amendments have been sent to Islamabad for further proceedings.. To a question, he said that I have had made no deal or taken any money from the government or PML-N representative even though they were after me to offer some kind of money as (Qasas). He said this time; I am not going back until I don’t get justice for the martyrs of 17th July and in Pakistan every day for a murder, some kind of compensation is being taken. Dr. Tahirul Qadri said that Nawaz Sharif want to become like the Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan, but this dream will never be fulfilled and no law can save him from meeting his fate in the Model Town case. Replying to a query, he drew attention to the corrupt electoral system saying, “Had Quaid-e-Azam been in today’s electoral arena, he would have lost to PML-N and even his security deposit would have been forfeited.”  The PAT leader declared that the Sharifs will have to pay Qasas in this case; he said our Qasas Movement begins on August 6 and will conclude on the 30th in Islamabad. But we pray that the need does not arise for the second and third phase of this movement.
