In the past week, multiple suicide attacks and insurgencies gripped the nation and killed almost a hundred people. As Pakistan mourns over the loss and stands petrified in fear of further attacks, Rustam Shah Mohmand, former Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ikram Sehgal, prominent defense analyst and Major General (r) Aijaz Awan joined Doctor Moeed Pirzada in a live show to discuss the tragedies, the role of law enforcement and the road ahead. Rustam Shah Mohmand was of the opinion that the state machinery is dysfunctional and does not have any cooperation, which is why these attacks take place. He further said that any tragedies cannot be deplored after they have taken place, that is of no use. Mr. Sehgal said that these insurgents have poured into Afghanistan and are now operating from there.
