Mr. Salman Ghani, Head of Political affairs, Roznama Dunya and Senior Analyst, expressed his views on the protest rallies being conducted all across Pakistan by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek in light of the model town massacre.
Mr.Ghani said that the government, establishment and judiciary did not do justice to the carnage, treating it with utmost neglect and misshapen procedures. The investigations were not followed through with conviction, leading to the escape of one of the Prime suspects.
The analyst was also of the opinion that the investigation reports and the verdict of Justice Baqir, which was the evidentiary document in this case, should have been made accessible to the masses so that people could decide for themselves and transparency could have prevailed.
