Tonight With Moeed Pirzada: Tale of two countries on National Security Indian National Security

Tale of two countries on National Security Indian National Security has become fascism of its kind. Indian Information and Broadcast ministry banned India’s leading English channel NDTV for one day on showing details of Pathankot base. This is first time that any channel will be banned on the issue of national security. Earlier, Barkha Datt’s interview with Chidambaram was also dropped as NDTV censors news that compromises national security. Praveen Swami’s story on Indian Express stated that there were no Pakistani markings on weapons recovered from Pathankot militant, it faced Gag order from MOD, that stories must be pre verified. One month has passed when Dawn news published leaked story, no inquiry commission has formed yet. It is strongly needed that all the tree culprits who leaked the news should be held rather than victimizing only Pervaiz Rasheed, Cyril Almeda or Dawn. India failed to provide any substantive evidence on Uri attack but the Dawn leak helped Indian narrative. Pakistan’s national security has become joke and national sovereignty is also on stake. Dr. Pirzada in the end left the question for the viewers that will higher judiciary will take notice on national security issue?
