The state of India has decided to offer political asylum to Baramdagh Bugti, who has launched a rebel movement against the Pakistani state. Mr. Bugti has repeatedly made anti Pakistan statements and has demanded Indian help. Dr.Pirzada said that this situation resonates with that of the 1959 Dalai Lama asylum case. Mr.Bugti was supported by Kabul on his rebellious movements. The then president Hamid Karzai denied having anything to do with that. The Pakistani government intends to send a letter to the Interpol for extradition of Baramdagh.
