Mr. Jan Achakzai, senior Journalist, commentator, former central spokesperson of JUI-F and the current advisor to the Chief Minister Balochistan, joined Doctor Moeed Pirzada via sattelite link to share his expertise on the Indian hostility and the Afghan intervention.
Mr. Achakzai said that India and Afghanistan have been facilitating the TTP with financial and logistic support since the advent of terrorism in the region. He said that the budding Afghan and Indian ties, the ex-Afghan President Mr. Hamid Karzai’s approval of Modi’s Bolchistan comment and the collaborative efforts of RAW and NDS, are all proof of the fact that India and Afghanistan have been the instigators of terrorism in the region.
The analyst also said that the Quetta hospital carnage was committed by a rebellious Taliban faction, the Jamaat Ul Ihrar, which surfaced in 2013 for the first time and has been invoolved in three major insurgencies ever since. Commenting on the federal government’s visible silence on Modi’s Balochistan comment, Mr. Achakzai said that the statements and outbursts from the Chief Ministers of Gilgit Baltistan and Balochistan and other senior leaders resonates the stance of the federal government.
